K-12 District Challenge This client was facing a tight deadline to have all 25k student laptops reimaged and redistributed to students at the beginning of the school year. The request from the district was this must be completed within 4 weeks. After speaking with other vendors who were not able to accommodate this tight timeline JW was tasked to provide a feasible solution.
Creativity at it’s best JW assisted in producing an overall solution which included JW Project Management, district wide communications, technicians, and distribution resources. The overall solution included recruiting local talent, reimaging, transportation, device tracking, device distribution and customer feedback for process improvement throughout the project. The key was producing a solution that worked both for the district as well as the families.
Results Using JW Project Management & Service Delivery model all devices were reimaged and distributed to students in an orderly fashion and with minimum disruption to the district. Families were able to be served in an orderly fashion within their home school zone to ease the effort on their part.
